Recently we help a client to de-register the company. When we went to the company’s social insurance bank to close the account, we found that the company had changed the legal representative yet not updating the information in the social insurance bank. Now more additional documents related to old legal representative need to be provided to the bank for review. Fortunately, the client can find the old legal representative information and passport and other supporting documents, final we closed this bank account.

Please remember to check whether the information changed also is updated in below office if need, when you change your company’s registration information in the local administration for market regulation (commercial and industrial bureau).

1.Tax office. Commonly most of changes also need to be updated at the tax office.

2.Commission of commerce office. Foreign companies need to be updated the changes at this office.

3.Foreign exchange office. Companies open foreign currency bank account, commonly most of changes also need to be updated at this office.

4.Customs office and the ID card issuing office. Companies run export or import business, please remember to update at these two office or it may affect the import or export business when you declare good for export or import at the customs.

5.Other related government offices if you have special licenses issued by the related government office.

6.Bank.
