In China, there are mainly below kinds of company bank
accounts.
1. RMB basic deposit bank account, cash can be withdrew from this account.
2. RMB general deposit
bank account which almost likes basic deposit bank account just can not
withdraw cash.
3. Capital bank account
which is for receiving the capital from shareholders.
4. Foreign currency deposit bank account which
is for receiving foreign currency from clients paying in a certain kind of foreign currencies.
5. Special bank account,
for example, loan account for receiving loan from overseas.
For new foreign companies,
when they first start their business, commonly they can't get enough money to bear the new company's daily expense. So
most of new companies will open a capital bank account to receive capital from
shareholders for first running as working capital.
At present, the foreign
currencies is managed and controlled by government. Government office needs to
statistic the foreign currencies based on their nature(capital, loan and so
on). So the overseas money should be sent to correct bank account.
We met a situation: one
of our new company's accounting book shows there is no paid-in capital,
however, the client insists the capital has been settled, after
communication with the previous accountant, we found that the shareholder paid
the capital into basic deposit bank account, in such case, it should be
returned at the moment when received the money or it
shall be regarded as the company's revenue. So when you make the payment,
please pay attention to the purpose of the payment, as difference purpose remittance should be in different
bank account.
